🔋 1. Tata Sierra ICE & Tata Sierra EV – The Return of an Icon

Tata’s legendary Sierra nameplate is making a comeback — not just in petrol and diesel form but also as a fully electric SUV. The new Sierra ICE will measure around 4.3 meters in length and will be marketed as a lifestyle SUV positioned above the Nexon.

It will go head-to-head with popular models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Vitara, and the upcoming Renault Duster.

Engine & Performance

The Sierra ICE will offer three engine options:

  • 1.5L NA Petrol – for budget buyers
  • 1.5L Turbo Petrol (170hp, 280Nm) – for enthusiasts
  • 2.0L Turbo Diesel (170hp, 350Nm) – for highway performance

Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed torque converter for diesel.

Tata Sierra EV

The Sierra EV will ride on Tata’s Acti.ev architecture, shared with the Curvv EV and upcoming Harrier EV. It is expected to feature 65kWh and 75kWh LFP battery packs, offering a range of 450–500km. While front-wheel drive will be standard, a dual-motor AWD option may be offered in the top variant.

Interior & Features

Inside, both versions of the Sierra will get a triple-screen dashboard, panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats (front & rear), dual-zone climate control, and Level 2 ADAS.

🛞 2. Tata Harrier & Safari Petrol – New Power, Same Bold Character

Tata is expanding its successful Harrier and Safari lineup by introducing petrol-powered variants. Both SUVs will use a newly developed 1.5-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine revealed at the 2023 Auto Expo.

Engine Specs

  • Power: 170hp @ 5000rpm
  • Torque: 280Nm @ 2000–3500rpm
  • Transmission: 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT

This new engine promises improved refinement, quicker throttle response, and better fuel efficiency — making the Harrier and Safari more versatile for customers who prefer petrol over diesel.

Design & Features

Both SUVs will continue with their muscular design, premium cabin, and advanced tech including:

  • Large touchscreen infotainment system
  • Connected car technology
  • 360° camera
  • Level 2 ADAS
  • Ventilated front seats

Expect these models to offer the same comfort and performance Tata fans love, but now with smoother petrol powertrains.

🚙 3. Tata Punch Facelift – Small SUV, Big Upgrades

The Tata Punch, one of India’s best-selling compact SUVs, is getting a major facelift before the end of 2025. The updated model will receive design tweaks, feature upgrades, and possibly new safety enhancements.

Exterior Updates

The new Punch will feature:

  • Revised front grille and bumper (inspired by Punch EV)
  • New LED headlamps and taillamps
  • New alloy wheel design
  • Refreshed tailgate styling

Interior & Features

Inside, it will sport a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, a larger touchscreen, 8-speaker audio system, and ventilated seats. Safety features will include blind spot monitoring and 6 airbags as standard.

The 1.2L NA petrol engine (87bhp) will continue, paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.
